Yahoo Messenger 10 beta was released about a month ago and I am sure most Yahoo users already switched to it. But most of you probably hate that nagging ad banner displayed at the bottom of the buddy list and also, you may want to run multiple instances so that you can log in to multiple accounts, or so that someone else can log in to Yahoo! Messenger in the same time.

Breadcrumbs is a search engine for your personal browsing history that comes as a Firefox add-on. Breadcrumbs saves your visited pages and allows you to search your pages from the search toolbar. It stores data locally to protect your privacy but you can access it remotely if you want or add another computer, to combine the search results (such as adding your work computer to be able to search the browsing history from your home computer, etc.).

But what I like the best about Breadcrumbs search for Firefox is that using it to search for a page, you can browse completely offline.

MediaInfo is a free, open source and multi-platform (works on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX) application which supplies technical and tag information about a video or audio file, which we are going to use to create .nfo files.

Google has added a feature to strip parameters from URLs to its Webmaster Tools. With extra parameters, search engines can index the same content under multiple URLs, which may split link equity.

Some time ago, we published a way to have individual post views displayed in each of your Blogger post. The problem is: there is no hosting plan to handle all the post views for all Web Upd8 readers which have installed this Blogger hack, so the only way around this would be for you to install the script on your own server / web host.
