Unique Freeware Image Viewer With Tagging Capabilities: Viewer2 [ Windows ]

viewer2Viewer2 is a free image viewer and a searchable image database that tries to do things a bit differently. I must say it's an amazing application, and not just how it looks, but also great for the way tagging and searching images on your computer works.

Also, you are not restricted to a normal list-style view of the images. You will see all of the folder or all the search results at once. You are free to navigate and zoom in the view to take a closer look. This allows for a very fast way to pick images with your own eyes.

Features:

* A completely custom interface that allows very flexible image organization
* Fully 3D-accelerated visuals that do not detract from usability
* A database including tagging, searching, importing IPTC tags and automatic tag suggesting
* IPTC data editing
* Full Unicode support

Viewer2 will immediately impress due to its stylish interface and innovative functions and to understand what I'm saying, watch the following video:

Yahoo Messenger 10 Beta Multi-Messenger & Ad Remover

Yahoo Messenger 10 beta was released about a month ago and I am sure most Yahoo users already switched to it. But most of you probably hate that nagging ad banner displayed at the bottom of the buddy list and also, you may want to run multiple instances so that you can log in to multiple accounts, or so that someone else can log in to Yahoo! Messenger in the same time.

To remove the ads and enable multi-messenger for Yahoo Messenger 10 beta (current version: 10.0.0.525), download Ad Banner Remover Plus v1.0.4.0 via:

Search Your Browsing History From Firefox Search Toolbar With Breadcrumbs [Add-on]

search history firefox

Breadcrumbs is a search engine for your personal browsing history that comes as a Firefox add-on. Breadcrumbs saves your visited pages and allows you to search your pages from the search toolbar. It stores data locally to protect your privacy but you can access it remotely if you want or add another computer, to combine the search results (such as adding your work computer to be able to search the browsing history from your home computer, etc.).

But what I like the best about Breadcrumbs search for Firefox is that using it to search for a page, you can browse completely offline.

Another great Firefox history add-on is History Tree.

Individual Post Views Counter For Blogger - Using Your Own Web Host

Some time ago, we published a way to have individual post views displayed in each of your Blogger post. The problem is: there is no hosting plan to handle all the post views for all Web Upd8 readers which have installed this Blogger hack, so the only way around this would be for you to install the script on your own server / web host.

I know of two PHP scripts which can do this, so I will handle each one in this post. Read on!
