nautilus elementary victory breadcrumbs

Victory-breadcrumbs is a small hack based on the Nautilus Elementary breadcrumbs for any theme (which was created by WebUpd8 reader gnaag).

This new hack designed by Clem will make the Nautilus Elementary breadcrumbs look similar to the Victory theme, without the need of using Victory (so they should work with any theme).

The installation is simple:

1. Make sure you have the latest Nautilus Elementary version installed. Then enable the breadcrumbs by going to Preferences, then on the Tweaks tab, check the box next to "Show like breadcrumbs".
2. Download Victory Breadcrumbs and place the downloaded archive in your home folder!
3. Run the following commands to install the Victory breadcrumbs:
tar xvzf *-victory-breadcrumbs-0.2.tar.gz
nautilus -q

In case you want to remove the Victory breadcrumbs, use the following commands:
rm ~/.gtkrc-2.0
rm -fr ~/.themes/nautilus
nautilus -q

Troubleshooting

So, you don't see any breadcrumbs in Nautilus even though you've followed all the above steps (double check!)? Then you must be using a text-mode location bar for Nautilus. To use breadcrumbs, run the following command in a terminal:
gconftool-2 --type=Boolean --set /apps/nautilus/preferences/always_use_location_entry false

Download Victory Breadcrumbs for any theme

Many thanks to clem for the Victory breadcrumbs hack!
