Ubuntu / Linux news and application reviews.

Last week we asked you to vote for the best Linux file manager. Let's see what the WebUpd8 readers voted.

As expected, Nautilus won with 1144 out of 2002 votes (57.14%) and Dolphin snatched the second place (17.68%). A kind of boring poll for the 1st and 2nd place. However the 3rd place is a nice surprise: Midnight Commander (MC) with 7.29%.

Krusader also got quite a lot of votes, even though it wasn't in the initial list: 40 votes (15 less than 6th place - Konqueror).

Other applications who got 5+ votes:
  • Nautilus Elementary: 22 votes
  • Gnome Commander: 11 votes

Once again we'd like to thank everyone who voted in our weekly poll!
