A few more GNOME Shell and GTK3 themes are available for those who are using GNOME 3. And they look amazing as always:

Installing the Orta And DrakFire Caffe GNOME Shell themes

Download Orta GNOME Shell themes pack (comes with Orta light and dark) | Download DrakFire Caffe GNOME Shell theme

A. Without using using a GNOME Shell extension:

1. Back up the /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme folder

2. You must extract the theme under /usr/share/gnome-shell, merging the "theme" with the /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme folder. If the downloaded theme folder is called "gnome-shell", rename it to "theme" firstly.

B. Using ThemeSelector GNOME Shell extension

Warning: the instructions below are for ThemeSelecor 0.9 - instructions where to copy the extension files have changed - see the "Install the Themeselector GNOME Shell extension" part of the ThemeSelector: GNOME Shell Extension To Change Themes (With Previews) post again to install the latest version!

For Orta: place both Orta directories (gs-orta and gs-orta-dark) in the  ~/.themes/ folder.

For DrakFire Caffe: rename the extracted folder which initially is called "theme" to "gnome-shell" and place this folder under ~/.themes/DrakFire/

For the ThemeSelector extension to be able to pick up the themes, you need to download some metadata files and a preview. I've set up these for you so everything will be done automatically by copying/pasting the commands below:

Orta:
cd ~/.themes/gs-orta/gnome-shell/
wget http://webupd8.googlecode.com/files/orta.tar.gz
tar -xvf orta.tar.gz

Orta Dark:
cd ~/.themes/gs-orta-dark/gnome-shell/
wget http://webupd8.googlecode.com/files/orta-dark.tar.gz
tar -xvf orta-dark.tar.gz

DrakFire Caffe:
cd ~/.themes/DrakFire/gnome-shell/
wget http://webupd8.googlecode.com/files/drakfire.tar.gz
tar -xvf drakfire.tar.gz

Because ThemeSelector doesn't look too well with more then 6 themes (3 themes on a row), mofiy it so 4 themes (or more) show up on a row. To display 4 themes on a row, use the following command:

sed -i 's/let numColumns = 3/let numColumns = 6/' ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/themeselector@fpmurphy.com/extension.js

Here's a ThemeSelector GNOME Shell extension screenshot:

Now reload GNOME Shell (press ALT + F2 and enter "r") or log out and log back in and select a new theme from the ThemeSelector.

Install DrakFire Caffe and Adwaita DrakFire Caffe GTK3 themes

Download DrakFire Caffe GTK3 theme | Download Adwaita Drakfire Caffe GTK3 theme

Note: GTK 3 themes won't work if you've installed GNOME Shell using jhbuild (it will only work if you're running the full GNOME 3).

To install these two GTK3 themes, download and extract them under /usr/share/themes/ folder. It seems The DrakFire Caffe themes doesn't work without a "gtk-2.0" folder so copy this folder from Adwaita DrakFire Caffe to the DrakFire Caffe theme folder.

Tip: to get the minimize button on the left and close button on the right like in the screenshots, run this command:
gconftool-2 -s -t string /desktop/gnome/shell/windows/button_layout "minimize:close"

Then reload GNOME Shell (press ALT + F2 and enter "r").
