I've skipped the last Unity update but with today's update I decided to make a post with the most interesting (though minor) changes in the latest Unity.
As usual, I've created a video in which you can see the following changes:
- you can now specify the Unity Launcher reveal mode (make bottom left corner trigger the Launcher and so on). You'll find an option for this in the CCSM (make sure you install it first) Unity plugin.
- the Launcher is desaturated when you open Dash
- Compiz Grid plugin animations (which can be configured)
Oh, and here's the video:
These are of course just a few of the many minor improvements that came in the last few days updates. To name just a few other changes: the Compiz Cube plugin works again, you can now drag from Dash to the Launcher. Also, the overlay scrollbars are now default but don't work for all the applications (I've already mentioned that but I thought I'd remind you since that change came in Unity 3.8.4 about which we didn't make a post). For more info, check out the Unity 3.8.6 and 3.8.4 changelogs.
