So you're wondering why even though Adobe released their Flash Player 10.1 yesterday, there's no 64bit Linux build available for download. Well, it seems Adobe discontinued the 64bit Flash Player 10.1 beta for Linux.
According to the Adobe Labs page:
The Flash Player 10.1 64-bit Linux beta is closed. We remain committed to delivering 64-bit support in a future release of Flash Player. No further information is available at this time. Please feel free to continue your discussions on the Flash Player 10.1 desktop forums.
The announcement is quite cryptic: it's not clear rather the beta was discontinued because they will be releasing the final version for 64bit soon or just that they've discontinued it altogether. But most probably it means there will be no Flash Player 10.1 for 64bit Linux. Either way, some more details for 64bit Linux users would have been nice.
