Zeitgeist (and Activity Journal - previously Gnome Activity Journal) is getting some amazing new features.

One such feature is based on the telepathy logger and it allows Zeitgeist to log when messages were sent/received and when dialogs were opened/closed. Thanks to this, a lot of new features will be added to Activity Journal, like showing the contacts with whom you've chatted as well as the related items. It's not easy to explain this awesomeness, so here is a video:

In his post, Lotfy also presents Dash, a new semi-semantic file browser (which is still in development and not exactly usable yet) developed by DanRabbit which will be using Zeitgeist+Tracker:

The latest Zeitgeist + AJ are not yet available in their PPA because Zeitgeist 0.3.3 release is due in 2 weeks. So stay tuned for more awesomeness.
