For many users, the video editing solutions that come with Windows, such as Windows Movie Maker, fall short or are somewhat confusing. Avid Technology wants the process of creating videos to be simpler and faster, and this is why they released VideoSpin 2.0.

This application allows you to mix video, photos and music to create the final result by combining all these sources, and also add various transitions and titles, then exporting the results to various formats, either directly on the web or to portable devices.

Among the features of this new 2.0 version: support for the MOV format, Fit-To-Fill Timeline, which eliminates black bands and support for widescreen format for uploading videos to YouTube. Also, the application performances were improved to make it lighter. In addition, VideoSpin 2.0 allows you to download additional content from the Internet to use in your videos, as well as export to iPod and PSP compatible formats. VideoSpin is free to download and use and it's compatible with Windows XP and Vista.
