Skype and Nokia have announced today, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, a partnership that will try and change the whole prospect of the telecom market.

Therefore, starting with the Nokia Nseries, the Nokia phones will be integrated with Skype. The first device to ever incorporate the Skype program will be Nokia N97, starting with the third quarter of 2009.

For years now, the mobile operators have been against these types of partnerships mainly because of being afraid of people not using their voice services anymore, thus lowering their profit!

Skype has over 400 million users worldwide, and the integration of Skype on Nokia Nseries terminals will take forward the Internet experience on mobile phones.
