MediterraneanNight Series, a sleek GTK theme pack that comes with 12 beautiful themes, has been updated recently, getting full support for GTK 3.8.
The theme pack continues to support GTK 3.6 and thanks to the GTK 3.8 support it has received in the new version, the theme should be fully compatible with Ubuntu 12.10, 13.04 (with both the default GTK 3.6 and with GTK 3.8 if you're using the GNOME 3 PPA) and 13.10.
According to the theme author, there are some issues with Unity and Nautilus 3.8, but I couldn't test this because I'm currently using Nautilus 3.6 (which is still default in Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander).
Below you can see screenshots with some of the 12 themes included in the MediterraneanNight Series, taken under Unity and GNOME Shell (Ubuntu 13.10 with GTK 3.8):

8 of the themes included in the pack support Xfwm4 too:

Install MediterraneanNight Series theme pack
Ubuntu 13.10, 13.04 and 12.10 users can install the MediterraneanNight Series theme pack by using the WebUpd8 Themes PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/themes
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install mediterraneannight-gtk-theme
MediterraneanNight is also available for Ubuntu 12.04 (available in the same PPA), however, it's an older version for GTK 3.4, which comes with only 3 color variations.
For other Linux distributions, download MediterraneanNight Series via Gnome Look.
To use one of the newly installed themes, use a tool such as Unity Tweak Tool, GNOME Tweak Tool, Ubuntu Tweak, Unsettings, etc.
