ViGedit is a Gedit plugin which allows you to use Vim commands in Gedit.

Here's what you need to do to install it:

bzr branch http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~tristil/vigedit/main-method
cd main-method
python install.py

Now close any running instance of Gedit, open Gedit and go to Edit > Preferences, on the plugins tab you should see ViGedit.
